Hi, I'm Laura K. Wise. I'm a freelance, social impact writer, editor, and storyteller.

I cover (and in general like to talk about) business, diversity, equity & inclusion, corporate social responsibility, technology, philanthropy, entrepreneurship — and the intersections of each of these topics.

I’m the Managing Editor at Contexts Magazine; a quarterly magazine that makes cutting-edge social research accessible to general readers. I'm also the founder of Content Wise Communications, a boutique communications consultancy where I help companies tell stories and build content strategies around their diversity & inclusion and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Throughout my life, I've been a fashion designer and stylist, a full-time volunteer, a missionary, a journalist whose covered stories in the U.S., Asia, and the Caribbean, an event planner, and a fundraiser. I'm addicted to podcasts and self-development books, and believe that we can create a better, more inclusive world through thoughtful partnership.

I'm passionate about doing the work I love and am striving to live my best life every day.

I love to read and take pictures. When I'm not doing any of the above, I'm probably blogging about my fashion finds, my adventures traveling the world, and the twists and turns of life.

You can find me across most social platforms @laurakwise.
