Laura K. Wise is a storyteller—working as a publicist, strategist, brand architect, and executive thought partner for clients who demand excellence and results.
A Dallas native with a global perspective shaped by years living and working across continents and coasts, Laura brings 15 years of strategic communications expertise to every engagement. She's the kind of multihyphenate who thrives at agency pace, generating big ideas while executing with precision. Her track record speaks for itself: countless communications strategies developed, high-profile visibility secured—from broadcast placements to podcast features and national press—and executives coached to build authentic brands that break through even the noisiest media cycles.
Laura's career has spanned sectors and settings. She's worked independently, in boutique agencies, and within Fortune 500 environments, giving her a rare fluency in how stories need to shift depending on scale, stakeholder, and strategy. For two years, she lived in the southern Philippines, developing global communications campaigns that championed indigenous rights, combated violence against women, and advanced human justice. From coast to coast, she's supported Fortune 100 leaders, nonprofits, foundations, independent thought leadrs and brands whose work is reshaping our world.
For the past eight years in agency settings, Laura has specialized in executive thought leadership—partnering closely with leaders to refine their voice, sharpen their message, and strategically expand their public presence. As a content creator and freelance writer for the past 15 years, she's published extensively on social impact, women's rights, mental health and wellness, entrepreneurship, and technology. Her approach is always client-first: deeply collaborative, culturally informed, human-centered, and relentlessly focused on impact.
Beyond communications, Laura is passionate about art, culture, and wellness. She currently serves as co-chair of the Dallas Museum of Art Junior Associates, leading a vibrant community of over 300 young professionals, artists, enthusiasts, and collectors exploring Dallas's world-class art scene. She also teaches cycling and Pilates classes three times a week at PureNRG Cycle, bringing the same energy and commitment to wellness that she brings to her clients.
Laura holds a B.S. in Marketing from Hampton University and a Professional Degree in Visual Communications from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) - Los Angeles. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Laura also sits on the board of the Freelancers Union, the nation's largest organization representing nearly 60 million independent workers.
